Drum roll please. . .

These will come in handy for this next baby.

A Baby BOY!!!! Yipee!!!

Whoa, that was a busy weekend!

SO we had a fun filled, PACKED weekend. My poor child has not gotten
to bed before nine for the last four nights! Poor kid! Well maybe more POOR ME!!

Saturday we began the ginormous project of painting the exterior of our house. My family was wonderful and came and helped Jeramy, because lets face it I was on Parks duty.
We or they got the majority of it done and hopefully it will get finished this weekend.

On Sunday we enjoyed the nice weather and our backyard and BBQ'd it up with my family and Jeramy's family. It is so wonderful that we all get along and enjoy each others company. Parks went on a nice walk on the trail along the wetlands with his Grandpa and Grandma Whitaker. They saw lots of great things.

On Monday we went to the lake. It was a way over due trip, considering we haven't been since the summer i was pregnant/Parks was born. Can I just tell how much I L-O-V-E the lake! The smell, the food, the water, the boat racing along the water!! HMMMMMM! I unfortunately was not able to tube or wakeboard (it has now been 4 years for me) but it was great to watch Parks, sit in the sun and eat!

The later that night we went to the Reno Aces game with our friends Josh and Mckenna. We got KILLER seats thanks to Josh and his VERY kind friend Andre(the best Aces Customer Manager ever!). Jeramy and Parks and Josh and Luke got to be on the Jumbo Tron! It was so fun and we won in the last second!! Very good company, food and entertainment!

A Glimpse of Summer

So Saturday was a very productive day. We spent all day outside, cleaning organizing and summer-izing the backyard. Now I just want to sit out there and enjoy the nice weather and watch Parks play.

So I finally got a little play thing for the yard. I got a steal at a scouting auction. A little Dora pirate ship, LOVE IT!

I made homemade ice cream for a little BBQ we had and let parks have a bowl all by him self, yeah a first for me. He thoroughly enjoyed it!

BBQ-ing and playing outside is so what I want to do for the next 5 months.

Today My Wonderful Husband, who by the way works like seventy hours a week and who worked like crazy in the yard on Saturday,

is building my Mothers Day gift (to accompany the flowers and card),

planing boxes for my garden that I have all mapped out!!

YEAH!! Thank YOU!!!
