December 1, 2010...

...was the first day that we did not own The Bagel Stand.
That's right, after years of trying, praying and hoping to sell, we did!
We both have lots of emotions right now, it is almost bittersweet.
For the last eight years and our whole married life, life has revolved and been all about The B.S.
In a way we are sad to see it go, and it is almost weird that we have no responsibility for it,
but we are excited and anxious to see what is next for our little family.

First

This last week Parks had a week of FIRST

First day of preschool

I am not sure who was more excited, me or him.

He loves it!




His FIRST dentist appt.

He did great.

And I have finally done something right, he has 'great looking teeth'!

Happy Day Mister

Today my baby turns one! And as he makes this milestone, he has decided to try out walking. Just little steps, like 5, 8 then 10 at a time. He is getting braver and stronger, I think by the end of the week crawling will be a memory. I hate that as they get older, they will never do the things that we love so much again, no more rolling all over, army crawls then regular crawling. It is all so exciting and sad in one.

To celebrate the big day, we had family and some friends over to celebrate. It was lots of fun to enjoy each other and watch Cannon. Love you Mister C!

Oh the Trouble!

The boys have been very busy lately. Learning all kinds of new things and refining old skills!

Cannon is 11 months and loves to hit now, yup that's right, hit. Hmmmm.... I wonder were he learned that.
He says "that" all the time (baby for 'whats that?') Yup pretty cute.
Also loves to play cars, scooting along with one in hand and making all kinds of car noises.


Parks has learned to talk back, Super fun.
He pulled out the batting to the cushion on the chair, when i walked in the see what he was doing, he exclaimed "Its Christmas!!!" AWESOME!
Today he made a nice piece of art work on the arm of the chair.
Do I really have to start following him all over the house to keep him out of trouble!!!???

"Wicked" Rodeo

I am so lucky, Jeramy was willing to take the kiddies for a weekend, and I got away!!

I went and saw, shopped and ate in San Fran.

Wicked was great, the company was hilarious, and the clothes are wonderful!

Friday was a day at the Reno Rodeo, Yee-Haw!

It was perfect, the kids didnt have to stay in one seat, we saw all the animals upclose and personal.

Parks highlight, and motorcycle jumping over a wagon and 6 horses!! "WOW"!

What, this is my 100th post!!! Woot WOOT!

Anyway, back to the real reason for the update, we are in the Valley of the Sun, and I love it!!

The warm air, the cactus, the pool, eating outside, love,love,love!


And well the fact that there is Family (and really great friends that are like family) involved in being here doesn't hurt!

And almost every morning and some evenings there are hot air balloons coming up over the ridge behind my parents house. This was this morning.

Oh and he is on a roll (and 6 months yesterday), well from his back to his tummy, then he gets madder than a pistol cause he just cant quite figure out how to get back to his back.

oh I am so in love with my parents new camera! It provides lots of entertainment!
